13 Must See Pieces Using Cowgirl Coral

Ahhhh April.  Usually one of my favorite month’s of the year.  This year, of course is very different.  While the weather is getting nicer, we are stuck in quarantine! I am so very grateful to have a backyard to hang out in, and a house full of projects waiting to be done.

My color of the month for April is the beautiful Cowgirl Coral.  Now I must admit, this was not a color that I grabbed very often.  For any project.  It’s not that i thought it wasn’t pretty, I just always gravitated to more subdued tones.  Which is why I love having a color of the month! It forces me to get out of my comfort zone and embrace something new.  And I am OBSESSED!!!!!! I have been using it for a number of fun projects, (and don’t forget my collaboration project with a DIY Paint retailer coming to you in week three).

To kick off my color of the month for April, I am bringing you 13 (thirteen!!) gorgeous pieces done using Cowgirl Coral.

1. Simply Coral

This stunning desk is brought to you by Elizabeth from Re-Picks. I love the light distress where you can see bits of white popping through, and the matching white knobs were the perfect finish!

2. What’s Up Ombre?

Jordan from RenewTX created this stunning piece using Hey Sailor, Old 57 and Mint Chip and Cowgirl Coral. What a gorgeous combination and I love her staging too.  Where would you put this piece?

3. A Pink Progression

I love this piece so much! Kat from Island Junque Company created this soft piece using Petticoat Pink, Summer Crush, a little Queen Bee and of course, Cowgirl Coral! The light distressing helps bring out the dimension of this piece and gives it just the right worn look.  Love it!

4. White Wax? Yes Please!

Kari from Karilou Furnishings used just the right finish when she grabbed her DIY Paint White Wax to finish this super cute chair! The detail on the top and in the spindles looks so pretty with the soft white nestling in the cracks and crevices.  What room would you put this in?

5. Coral & Black?  Ohhh Yeah!

This piece speaks to me like no other!! I am so drawn to the fabric in the doors- it’s just perfect! The whimsical circles for pulls and the Black Wax really pull this buffet together.  I would love this little beauty in my kitchen – where would put it?

6. A Drippy Dream

Tami from Tucson Junksters created the perfect finish for this pretty cabinet.  She used Cowgirl Coral, Marquee, Crinoline and Gypsy Green.  Its such a pretty pop of color! PS- i love the piggy pillow too!!

7. A Desk That Belongs in a Beautiful Dream

Cara from Cara’s Color Me Vintage used Faded Burlap, Kissing Booth and Old School with the Cowgirl Coral. What a pretty combination! I really like the progression from dark to light.  Gorgeous!

8. Inspired by Vintage Fabric

Jennifer from Scenic Route, LLC created this super cool piece after being inspired by some vintage fabric she had.  She grabbed Bead Board, Old ‘57, Fancy Farm Girl, Bohemian Blue, Cowgirl Coral, Mermaid Tail, Mint Chip, & Queen Bee. Isn’t this so cool?

9. A Jewelry Chest to Covet!

My girlfriend Mara from Vintage Retail Therapy loves jewelry chests! So it was no surprise when she submitted this beauty to be featured here.  It’s so romantic don’t you think?

10. Sweet Dreams

Tonya from Passionate Pigment used some gorgeous floral transfers on this dresser.  I love how the flowers take the eye around the whole piece.  What a gorgeous piece for a girls room right?

11. A Vintage Vanity Up-Do!

Aspen at Gray Day Relics used Cowgirl Coral, Petticoat Pink and Old 57 to create this pretty look on this vintage vanity.  My favorite are the pops of Old 57.  Isn’t this beautiful? What a wall behind it too right??!!

12. A Hutch to Remember

Holly Gray from Blue Moon VA  used Kissing Booth, Cowgirl Coral and IOD stamps with Golden Ticket. She finished with White, Gray and Clear waxes. I would be overcome with joy if this was in my home! How about you?

13. Bombay and Beautiful!

Debi from Elsie Lane Boutique created this amazing Bombay chest using Little Black Dress, Summer Crush, Cowgirl Coral, Kissing Booth, and Bead Board!  Wow- that an impressive list of colors used on one piece!

Whew! That was a pretty impressive show and tell for Cowgirl Coral don’t you think? I for one would like every piece in a different room in my home.  How about you?  Which one is your favorite? Tell me in the comments below!

Stay tuned next week for a lamp makeover featuring Cowgirl Coral.

Until then,

Jane xoxo

  1. Hey Jane! I hope you are well! It is so hard to pick a favorite because these artists are so so talented. I own this color but i have only used it for painting a tray for my booth. So if i had to pick a favorite it would be between Mara’s jewelry chest he vanity by Grey Day Relics and Jordan’s Ombre transformation on that antique vanity. Thank you for putting these posts together. I really enjoy them an find inspiration here, which i really need right now. Take care and stay well.

    1. I am so glad Cheryl!
