I am so excited to be smack dab in the middle of March! The snow is melting (hurrah!!), and yesterday I saw a Robin hopping in the yard.
I’m celebrating Monet’s Garden this month. A gorgeous primary green that has amazing versatility! This week, Jill from Upsadaisies and I took some boring old train cases/suitcases and turned them into beautiful pieces of art!
Jill found these cases on Facebook Marketplace. Cool as is, but just wait until you see the results!!
I started with the small blue case. Since Monet’s Garden is my color of the month, I chose that, along with Tarnished Pearl, and the Poppy Garden transfer. Jill used Tarnished Pearl and a little bit of Prairie Gray. She chose some transfer scraps from the Bonjour Paris and an old map set. Check out the video below to see how we got these started!
Here is how Jill’s turned out. It’s so pretty!
I love love love how mine turned out! Have you ever up cycled a suitcase? Tell me about it in the comments below.
See you next week!
xoxo,
Jane
